SCAFFOLD ALARMS
Permanex Security is acknowledged as the largest and

Security provides its customers with a cost effective means of intruder
prevention, using the latest Electronic Security Systems. Sensors
situated on the scaffold create a harmless volumetric beam detection
zone. Any intruder entering this zone immediately sets off an alarm
alerting the porter, night-watchman or central monitoring station. False
alarms are minimal as the alarm will not be triggered by heavy rain,
hail, snow, falling leaves, birds or small animals crossing the beam.
A sophisticated mains power console integrates all sensors on the site
and even when the system is suspended during working hours a tamper
system is active which triggers the alarm if cables are cut,
disconnected or if the console is interfered with. Should the system be
activated, the alarm will discontinue after a designated period and the
console will rearm the entire system. The system has its own backup
power supply ensuring full capability at all times.
All events are recorded in detail and recalled from the memory on the
LCD display to the control panel. An operational 24 hour telephone link
to a Central Security Monitoring Station can be arranged. The moment the
system is activated, the CMS is automatically contacted via the
telephone link. The CMS then immediately contacts the nominated
keyholder, site porter or security patrol.
