Following a theft from a construction site at the beginning of the year, one construction site owner has actively taken steps to prevent this from happening again at this site, and other construction sites throughout the surrounding area.

In addition to the copper located on the site the thieves also stole a range of other commodities too- including 72 steel brackets and other expensive tools and equipment.  They also cut a number of large power cables to the machinery in order to obtain a supply of copper wire.
